AUSTONLEY IRISH WOLFHOUNDS & WHITE SWISS SHEPHERD DOGS
We live in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire, UK. We got our first Irish Wolfhound 13 years ago and she changed our lives. We began showing at Championship & Open Shows and decided we would like to breed our own Wolfhounds to show. Showing is our hobby, living with our hounds is our life.
Austonley (pronounced Ost en leh) is an area of Holmfirth, here my husband grew up and it is now central to where we walk our Wolfhounds at least twice a day. It has everything needed to exercise these big powerful hounds. Woodland, moorland, river and reservoir walks, with 90% off lead. Plus we are surrounded by tons of dog friendly pubs for some very serious doggy socialising.
We decided the name was apt, they are Austonley Irish Wolfhounds.
We currently have 9 Wolfhounds. Fame, Geronimo, Inca, January, Wilson II, Booby, Rosa, Cactus & South.
All our dogs live in our home as part of our family and all go out on walks and used to visit pubs but we are both sober and T Total nowadays!!!
Our wolfhounds do not live their entire lives in kennels, barns or stables.
We keep in touch with all the puppies we have bred and if need be would take back any puppy at any stage in their life. We offer lifetime support and advice to all their new owners. We have made some very good friends through homing wolfhounds in only the best homes we can find.

We also spend a lot of time in busy social situations and most importantly all our pack live in our home. Our hounds need to be sound in Body & Mind. Which is why we personally chose to feed Raw along side Grain Free Recipes. We have numerous meats and fish recipes, potato, sweet potato and rice recipes plus single source protein recipes to help identify and eliminate problem ingredients.
