Why English Country Duck?

Duck is a great tasting animal protein source that provides several important nutrients that contribute to overall health and well-being. As well as being a valuable source of protein providing essential amino acids, it is also rich in B vitamins and the essential minerals potassium and phosphorus. Potassium plays an important role in maintaining the fluid balance in the body and having a vital role in the normal functioning of nerves and muscles. At the same time, phosphorus is essential for strong bones and teeth. Duck is a lean, nutrient-dense source of protein and provides nutrients such as iron, selenium, B vitamins, and zinc, contributing to general health and well-being.

Your Duck recipe contains Farm-Raised English Country Ducks, which are sourced from Red Tractor assured farms. We believe this provides the best possible outcomes for the health and welfare of this fantastic protein source.

While a fantastic protein source in its own right and extremely tasty, duck is an excellent alternative for those dogs that may show signs of intolerance (e.g. skin irritation, gastrointestinal upset) to other protein sources.  Using a unique process we have a created a recipe that boasts 65% Duck with a minimum 35% Freshly Prepared Duck.
